KSA History
The Early Years
In 1983, KSA International began delivering supervisory and managerial training programs to personnel in Continental Airlines, Texas Instruments, Control Data, New England Telephone and Digital Equipment Corporation. In the early years, (1983 - 1986) the emphasis in high tech firms and other large corporations was on training personnel to assume the next level of responsibility, i.e. "Succession Management". This training focus was needed because of the explosive growth in these industries. It became apparent that employee training needed to have continuity from training experience to targeted job skills, and comprehensive follow up with individual accountability.
The Maturing Years
From 1986 through 1993, the KSA International clients needed more than just the standard employee development (to assume the next level of responsibility in their companies). What evolved was the need for customized training programs that take into account both the internal company concerns and the company's external customer relationships. These broad based training needs afforded KSA International the opportunity to design, develop and deliver a series of training programs focused Total Solution Training Programs. The primary skill sets and learning outcomes targeted how to form partnerships between the products and services provided by a company and it customers.
Profit Center Management
KSA International was among the first management training/consulting firms in the US to deliver full business simulation training programs to middle managers who were presently, or soon would become, profit-center managers. The various business simulation methodologies employed by KSA International remain powerful to this day, because each trainee is totally involved in the interaction of their simulated profit-center and the realities of today's global market place.
Customized Training Programs
From 1993 through the present, KSA International provides customized corporate training programs worldwide. The KSA International emphasis on interactive learning techniques results in uncommonly high program utility with maximum learning transfer and application.
KSA Interactive Games and Educational Services
Ever since KSA began delivering Business Simulation Training Programs, one question has always been asked; "Do you have something like this for kids?" In 2004 KSA began developing a line of board games to bring the fun of the Business Simulation into your home, as well as a line of business simulators for use in schools. These products will become valuable tools for teaching skills that will soon be required of everyone.

Training Methods and Rationale
KSA International stands for Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities is more than simply a collection of terms suggesting generalized outcomes from the training programs delivered. These words represent a set of interrelated concepts that combine to create the highest probability of effective learning - the cornerstone on which maximum transfer and application of information rests. Beyond mere buzzwords, these three elements of human learning find daily utility in the design and delivery of commercial training programs.
The intellectual framework for this learning paradigm is subdivided into three identifiable components: Cognitive-Knowledge, Affective-Skill Acquisition, and Psychomotor-Abilities. Essentially, this means knowing-learning (cognitive), knowing how to apply what was learned (affective), and experiencing or internalizing knowledge and acquired skills (psychomotor) are the essentials to long-term application. To the degree that a commercial training program engages all three elements, (cognitive, affective, psychomotor), new information and practices can be most readily and accurately applied.
In the commercial use of learning through the delivery of training programs, transfer of new information and its application to daily business life are valuable outcomes. Regardless of the subject area, every KSA International training program is designed to provide the trainee with knowledge acquisition, skill acquisition and professional application methods.
Moreover, all KSA International training programs are customized for each client to add the element of immediacy to every example, exercise, simulation and illustration used to communicate new information and methods.
KSA International training programs are developed in a framework to reflect the business environment where the learning outcomes can be measured in competitive terms. This is the acid test for our training and measured against that standard, KSA International continues to compile a history of successes - building on our reputation for training programs that provide maximum learning transfer and application.

Professional Staff Capabilities
KSA International delivery team composition is more than an appropriate mix of intellects, experience, or professional training - it is also a product of human chemistry.
As the advance guard for all training programs, each delivery team is charged with more than just the responsibility for conducting an excellent learning experience. Each training team must also engage the training participants on several levels, communicating enthusiasm and energy along with the clarification of the goals, objectives and concepts for each program.
To meet this challenge, KSA International follows a protocol that lets training teams form themselves - coalescing over time as they develop and deliver training programs built around their individual specialties.
This is only possible because of the powerful collection of educated and experienced professionals who work with and for KSA International. 94% of the training staff holds advanced degrees - Ph.D., MBA, MS and MA. Collectively, the professionals who deliver our training programs have accumulated over 230 years of professional business experience.
Assembling dynamic delivery teams from such an inventory of strong credentials and equally strong personalities is a delicate and time consuming task -- one that challenges us with each new training program we develop. However, the functional value of well orchestrated training program delivery by a cohesive team cannot be overstated. The KSA International performance histories, as documented by the training program evaluations we collect and analyze diligently, testify to the success or our approach.
In the end, of course, the lion's share of the credit belongs to our excellent professional people. Their commitment to training program quality, in design, development, production, and delivery are personal signatures left by each of them on the learning experiences we create as a team.
